Default Changing default settings on keyboard

My HP G62 Laptop has a vertical row of keys on the left linked to windows live mail, media player, home page, printer and calculator. Is there a way to change these to something more useful? I would prefer to link to gmail instead of windows live mail and i use the calculator about once a year so i'm sure i could find a better use for that.

You can set a system restore point and try the IntelliType Pro 8.0...Free software below:

    Requirements:Windows 2000 / XP / 2003 / Vista / Windows7
    Download IntelliType Pro 8.0 - FileHippo.com

Then go to the keyboard software and change as needed

If you are not satisfied...just use system restore and remove the program

BTW: I see you are in London....you can also change the US keyboard to the UK, if you have not done so yet
(it is a simple region change...if you need more info ...just ask)
