    Default Windows xp/Apple

Please can you advise? Can I install Windows XP on a Apple mac computer? I have no knowledge of Apple computers. It says 'Powermac G4' on the back of the computer if this is any help? Thank you.

I may be wrong here, and i am in no way an expert in this field, but i was under the impression the Mac had to be an Intel based chip for this to work as a standalone instalation (well, dual boot...) and the G4 model is not intel based?

you can run windows inside the MacOS using an emulator like Microsoft Virtual PC, but that kinda defeats the object...

Again, i may be completely wrong, and will stand corrected!
let us know how you get on!

Darn is correct it will be virtual but doable

They often use a program called About - QEMU
Again, The Mac Forum is much more knowledgeable than me ref Macs'

QEMU is a generic and open source machine emulator and virtualizer.
When used as a machine emulator, QEMU can run OSes and programs made for one machine
