Default Deleted Downloads Folder + All Contents - Can this be recovered?

    Hi all,

Today by accident I deleted the downloads folder on my Win 7 pc and all the files in this folder, the folder does not appear in the recycle bin.

Is there any way to recover the files I have lost?

Thanks adamski but I managed to fix the problem last night on my own, it's a really weird way but works really well can could help other users who think they have deleted folders permanently...

I copied a downloads folder from a spare Win 7 account back to the my account where I deleted the folder, I then right clicked on this folder and selected "Restore previous version" tab. I then selected a record from last Sunday and restore and low and behold it restored all my files. I think this is a pretty sweet way to recover files.
