    Default Making a Link?

I may be the last person to learn how to cut and paste.
I am trying to send a link to a friend.
I have the address in my IE favorites.
I want to make a link in either Yahoo or Hotmail.
My Yahoo mail is in Firefox. I can cut and paste the address into an Email, but I just get the characters, it is not underlined and isn't a link.

Send it to your friend and it may become active at that time. I use Yahoo too and it does the same thing.

This add on from Firefox may be helpful too

    Add-on
    Email This! 2.3.0
    by ArtSabintsev/Lazyrussian

Email This! will send your recipient the link, title, & highlighted text of the page you are viewing using GMail, Google Apps GMail, Yahoo, and Stand-Alone Mail Clients like Outlook Express, Thunderbird, & More!
NOTE: Only problem is Firefox changes versions so often not all FF add-ons will work, right away, on a new updated version of Firefox

    As posted by Arbfarkle:
My Yahoo mail is in Firefox.
If Yahoo is set as the default email in Firefox try this:

Go to the site you want to share then click File > Send Link in your Firefox menu and Yahoo should open with the clickable link placed in the body of the message field. Add the address to the To: field you want to send to and click Send.

And voilą! It's on it's way to the sender!

Don't know why Hotmail is not working....should be an option in both to insert a link

I do not use Yahoo...I do use hotmail integrated with live mail

I use livemail with hotmail added...it has a blue globe in the menu to add links

Bad news. Just tried to send links on our systems via default mail and copy/paste. None were clickable. We have Yahoo as default on FF6.0

Funny thing...worked just fine yesterday! Some experimenting will need to be done here. If I find anything on my end I'll post my findings.
