    Default Microsoft mail

My wife uses a Dell Inspiron with Windows Vista Home. When she tries to delete mail from Windows Mail she gets an "Unknown error has occurred" message. Some research on the web suggests that may be a conflict with anti-virus software. She is running AVG. Further investigation suggested downloading SP2 but the message I got was that it was not compatible. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

No go I'm afraid. It's still throwing up the error message. I did, however, check the message(s) that would not delete and found a system message saying that the contents of the message could not be found. Leaving it OPEN I used the delete option within the message and removed it. This seemed to break the deadlock and the other messages are deleting normally.
