Deleted files from external hard drive

Quicktime on PC does not work either. I tried uploading the smallest file here but it won't go through. If anybody wants to give it a shot please let me know. I can either email it or upload in an online storage and provide access.

Hi All,

I'm now led to believe that the files I recovered are corrupt. I have seen a bunch of links online that supposedly fixes corrupt mp4 files but nothing panned out. Does anybody know a way of trying to fix these corrupted files?
