    Hi JoshuaAllred,

    Welcome to Help2Go

Is the option to select "Repair your computer" there? If so select it using the arrow keys, then hit enter on the keyboard. Let us know what that does. Please let us know if this is Vista too.

Ok.. Try selecting the Safe Mode option then, again using the arrow keys. Let us know if you can enter the Safe Mode..

You got the computer from a friend
Has it ever worked for you? This is a desktop correct? I wonder if it's dirty inside it and heating up on you. You might take the side panel off and check for dust build up.

Get a disk if he has one too. Google "Repair disk xp" If you can't get into windows via Safe Mode you will need to work out side of windows using some sort of repair disk or USB Flash drive with like Malwarebytes on it to start, that's if it's software related. It could be hardware related as in Hard drive too!

Let us know how it goes, thank you for using Help2Go!
