SOS my computer isnt loading
my sony VAIO PCV-RZ14G Desktop Computer is starting on a black screen with white letters and I click start windows with normal settings I click it and it goes to the Windows loading screen then goes to the black screen with white letters and it continues to do this what happened to it I got this computer from a friend and dont know much about it

Is the option to select "Repair your computer" there? If so select it using the arrow keys, then hit enter on the keyboard. Let us know what that does. Please let us know if this is Vista too.

It is windows XP and it does not have that option

Ok.. Try selecting the Safe Mode option then, again using the arrow keys. Let us know if you can enter the Safe Mode..

yes but it wont allow me to go to to bottom options and it just sits there

Has it ever worked for you? This is a desktop correct? I wonder if it's dirty inside it and heating up on you. You might take the side panel off and check for dust build up.You got the computer from a friend

It is very clean in the inside it is not a slow computer I think I am going to ask him that would make more sense hugh thank you though I will rereply if he doesnt know again thank you

Get a disk if he has one too. Google "Repair disk xp" If you can't get into windows via Safe Mode you will need to work out side of windows using some sort of repair disk or USB Flash drive with like Malwarebytes on it to start, that's if it's software related. It could be hardware related as in Hard drive too!
