    Default Nero 10 installation problem

I have purchased Nero Multimedia 10 software.
During installation there was error as follows.
"There was a error during installation . Program will terminate.
    Click OK "

Then I try to reinstall the program but there was a message stating that program is
already installed, remove program then reinstall.

I went to control panel to remove Nero but it did not allow me to remove it.

I have contacted Nero support and with email several times and each time they
will tell me what to do.
I did exactly what they told me but I still couldn't remove.
Then they told me to download full Nero Multimedia 10 from Nero.com
I start downloading but then error popup.
" Error 1704 Installation for Nero update is currently suspended."

Finally I was so sick of this program then I tried myself.
I remove everything where I saw Nero including register files with regedit.
I do not see Nero anyplace on my PC, but when I try to reinstalled from CD
it start OK. I enter my serial number and it start loading but then little window popup
and indicate that there is newer application installed. Please remove application then
    reinstall.
My question? Is there a software or freeware that will clean my PC from Nero so
that I could reinstall fro my CD.

Why they make program that would be so difficult to install or remove.
The Nero support don't have stright answer, thats how difficult is.
I never had such problem with any other software.
I wold be afraid to purchase another Nero.

My PC. Intel core i5 3.3 ghz
    8 gb memory, Win 7 64-bit

    Thank You

I have used Revo and I have removed all Nero applications what was shown on Revo.
Today I have tryed again Revo and it does't show any Nero programs.

I can not find anything on my PC regarding Nero yet it must be hiding someplace because
it telling me that there is a newer Nero and I must removed.

When DDS has finished it will launch the two Notepad windows that display the contents of these log files.

Where is the other log? See if you can find it and post it. In the mean time,

    From your log
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Nero\Nero 10\Update\NASvc.exe"

Navigate to the Program Files folder on your "C" Drive. Find any Nero folders, right click on them and choose delete. If they don't delete boot the computer to safe mode and delete from there.

    Next

Clean out your temporary internet files and temp files.

Download TFC by OldTimer http://oldtimer.geekstogo.com/TFC.exe to your desktop.

    Double-click TFC.exe to run it.

Note: If you are running on Vista or Win 7, right-click on the file and choose Run As Administrator

TFC will close all programs when run, so make sure you have saved all your work before you begin.

    * Click the Start button to begin the cleaning process.
    * Depending on how often you clean temp files, execution time should be anywhere from a few seconds to a minute or two.
    * Please let TFC run uninterrupted until it is finished.

Once TFC is finished it should restart your computer. If it does not, please manually restart the computer yourself to ensure a complete cleaning.

    Next
Download HijackThis from here http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en...HJTInstall.exe to the Desktop.
    • Double-click on HJTInstall.
    • Click on the Install button.
    • It will automatically place HJT in C:\Program Files\TrendMicro\HijackThis\HijackThis.exe.
    • Upon install, HijackThis should open for you.
    • Click on the Do a system scan and save a log file button
    • HijackThis will scan and then a log will open in notepad.
Copy and then paste the entire contents of the log in your post.
Do not have HijackThis fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.

    Default Nero 10 instalation problem

[QUOTE=zep516;466484]When DDS has finished it will launch the two Notepad windows that display the contents of these log files.

I am sorry for late reply but I was urgently called for business trip.
I just want to say that I realy appreciate all the help which you have provaded for me but
it was to much for me so I returned software back to store.
After somke arguments and managers involment they took software back less 10% for
    retutning open box.
I would be afraid to buy Nero software again.

Again I would like to say THANK YOU
