    Default Reformat External Hard Drive

I want to reformat an existing external HD for backup. Currently it has 3 partitions:
    1 x Primary NTFS; 1 x Logical FAT32; 1 x Logical NTFS.
Can someone please advise how to reformat this into a single NTFS partition? I'm running Win7.

Reformatting an external hard drive is an easy task to perform from within your existing operating system.

You will get a warning that all data will be lost etc....ignore and continue with the format
    It will create one partition

An external hard drive gives any computer user extra storage space for data, pictures and programs. They are also extremely useful for backing up data, or for creating a bootable system backup disk that can be used if the main hard drive becomes corrupted or crashes and cannot be used. Reformatting an external hard drive is an easy task to perform from within your existing operating system.
