    That Version # is correct. My error. That is the 32 Bit Internet Explorer that shows. And that's what we want.

    The machine generally seems OK now but IE9 still keeps slowing down. Sometimes I get messages saying that webpages are not responding, other time I get a page like this:

    Not sure what to think here, that error boils down to all the exercises we have gone through already, disabling add / ons etc.

    Try other browser and see how it works. I prefer other browser for my pc.

    Hello,

    A couple of things.

    1.
    Let's uninstall Spybot Search & Destroy. This sometimes will have an affect on your computer and/or your browser.

    Uninstalling A Program Through "add/remove"

    Click "start" on the taskbar and then click on the "Control Panel" icon.
    Please doubleclick the "Add or Remove Programs" icon
    A list of programs installed will be "populated" this may take a bit of time.
    If they exist, uninstall the following by clicking on the following entries and selecting "remove":

    Spybot Search & Destroy

    Additional instructions can be found here if needed.


    2.
    Lets get a little more information about your computer.

    A.
    • Please download and save HardwareInfo to you desktop.
    • Double click HardwareInfo it will produce a log named HardwareInfo.txt.
    • Copy and paste that log in your next reply.



    B.
    Please download ConflictInfo by aommaster to your desktop.
    • 1. Double click

      2. Press to begin.

      3. It shall produce a ConflictInfo.txt on your desktop.

      4. Please copy and paste the log in your next reply.



    C.
    Download Security Check by screen317 from here or here.
    • Save it to your Desktop.
    • Double click SecurityCheck.exe and follow the onscreen instructions inside of the black box.
    • A Notepad document should open automatically called checkup.txt; please post the contents of that document.

    This is probably the reason your having problems with your machine in general along with IE9.

    Out of date service pack!!
    Here is another reason why your having problems. It's showing an out of date service pack.

    1. Why is there not much free RAM and what can I do about it? (Is say 10 tabs too much in IE9?)

    2. I'm sure I have windows set to automatically update?
