Bluetooth connection
I am trying to play music files from a laptop through a music centre using a Bluetooth link. Pairing was successful and the laptop says its connected. However, when I try to play a file, using say Windows Media Player, I only have sound from the laptop speakers. Should I be doing something else?
The laptop is a Dell Inspiron 1525 running Vista and the bluetooth is the Dell TrueMobile 355 internal Bluetooth Module. The music centre is connected to a Logitech Wireless Speaker Adaptor for Bluetooth Audio Devices. I believe that the inputs to the music centre are correct because it works when these are connected directly to the headphone output of the laptop by cables.

Thanks for this. I followed it through and it appears that the laptop is connected to the Logitec device. More over, I can turn the green light on the Logitec to red and back to green remotely from my laptop by way of the Bluetooth icon and then "Turn Bluetooth device off(on)".
It is still not playing. Should I have to tell it to stream the files while I play them on the laptop using Window Media Player?

Hi,
Thought we would get it one bang there, guess not! I would at this point tell it to stream the files. Lets see what occurs there.

That was the clue I needed! When I checked streaming it was set elsewhere. Thank you for your help.
