Everything requiring hardware acceleration lags
I gave the CPU to a repair guy to install windows. Ever since I got it back, everything that requires hardware acceleration lags, and the CPU usage spikes up. Games don't work properly, can't watch videos online in full screen, and even scrolling down pages like facebook doesn't work properly. Even playing a song, the CPU usage goes upto 40%. I do have the VGA, sound, internet drivers installed so that shouldn't be the prob.

Hi kunalkhilnani,
Welcome to Help2Go
Turn Off Hardware Acceleration to Improve Video QualityToday, almost all software applications use multimedia including graphics, audio, video, animation and text to make using the PC an enjoyable experience. This directly translates into a surge in demand for processing power, leading to the manufacture of powerful video and graphic cards. The Hardware Acceleration tab allows you to specify the performance of the graphics hardware present on your PC.
See if any of the information is helpful to you.

Take it back. He did a lousy, or incomplete job. It sounds like he failed to install all your drivers.I gave the CPU to a repair guy to install windows.
