    Red face HP Presario C700.

    Hi,

Here is another computer prob that has been bugging me for the last couple of months.

I have a HP Presario C700 Laptop & another dead one for spare parts.

Firstly the keyboard was stuffed & I replaced that.
Rebooted it & now the screen has a severe vertical roll happening.
But not when plugged into a external monitor.

I reinstalled Vista Home Premium after working out that HP do not have the drivers or support for XP on this model.

Now I have swapped screens & back again. Same prob.
    Updated drivers & BIOS.

After a bit of research it points to the inverter on the screen?
But am wondering if it is prob the motherboard that is the whole issue?

    Any help would be terrific!
Every time I play I learn more!

    Hi Bauplenuts,

I'm providing a link to the HP site where the driver is available for download.

Let us know if that helps or not.
