Default admin event logs before i bought computer

i recently had the ocassion to check my event logs after my new (5 days old) HP pavilian g4-2029 notebook crashed a few times (3 blue screens, 2 freeze ups, once the screen just went black.) i found that there were 8 admin event logs before i bought this computer, and it was not sold as being refurbished, but i am wondering if it is or if i am seeing logs that were noted at a factory check or something. there were four logs for not being able to "set up"windows on 2-10-12 and four more on 5-20-12. both times the computer name was different....just numbers and letters, not a real name. can anyone tell me is this usual? do you think this computer was bought several times before and just repackaged? i made sure it was packed well and certainly looked like it was never opened before. could this be someone just doing a quality inspection at the factory?

Do not cause harm to your warranty....call the vendor and get a replacement or have them fix it

Just tell them it is crashing
