    Default Multi-Hop Cycle Detected

When I tried to open Firefox this morning this is the message I got ( Your request is prohibited because it would cause a cycle.) My home page is Yahoo mail. I can go to face book and obviously here but not my home page. Help please?

I do not use Yahoo mail...this is from a basic Google search

I think it is just related to yahoo mail beta. Also if you switch back to normal yahoo mail, then it might not happen

    STEP:
    1) Sign out
    2) Clear cache/cookies
    3) Close browser window
    4) Open fresh window
    5) Resign into Yahoo mail.
    6) If problem persists, roll back to yahoo mail (from beta)
I would run CCleaner too (Free version is fine....do not run the reg cleaner just the Cleaner)

I ran CCleaner but it didn't help. I can't sign out of Yahoo mail because I can't get into it. All I get is a blank page with the above multi-hop message on it.

I could not run system restore even after shutting down Zone Alarm, it said there was a file it could not access so I googled yahoo mail and logged in from there and set that as my home page....that seems to be working ok. Thanks for the help. Not being able to run system restore will be my next problem.

Glad you can access from the Web

That seems to be a Yahoo Mail issue lately....best not to use a beta version....stick with a stable version
