    Default no bios

    i replaced my old motherboard with the same board a gigabyte 970a-ud3 but cannot acess bios tried just installing cpu memory and video but get no post or bios i also installed the hard drive and the machine will boot into windows and everything runs fine i need to acess bios to wipe the drive and reinstall 64 bit window

    Try a PS2 keyboard

    Try F12 to set boot order

    Or;

    You might as well just go ahead and do and RMA (return merchandise authorization) on the motherboard, if you just bought it.

    No use trying to fix faulty equipment if you just got it

    Gigabyte boards typically require pressing the Del key during boot to enter the BIOS Setup Menu and according to your manual on page 31, that's what you do here too.

    In a perfect world....Dell and proprietary mobos do not always play fair

    Try delete too....I think a PS2 keyboard has a chance too...USB keyboards are sometimes problematic

    Again, if it is new and delete fails...maybe another mobo board is in order
