    Default Windows 8 Help????

Hi, please can you help...major issue!! A laptop Toshiba Satellite C855 1TC with windows 8 has been somehow 'hijacked'? I have no idea how or when? I can't access the system no matter what. The system won't let me boot in safe-mode, or initiate a 'recovery restore point'. I've tried re-booting from other boot options...won't let me do it. I've tried system recovery, windows recovery, and factory reset...nothing works!? I've now been given the option to 'Delete all data and partitions from Hard Disc', or 'Delete all partitions & overwrite all sectors on the Hard Disk'.. I haven't done anything with the options as yet, but if I choose either of these two options, will this completely remove Win8...because I really can't afford to do this? Please can anyone help me? Thank you

    Hi Number7 (waves),

No. Don't do anything with those options yet.

Have a look at these links below.

Repair your computer in Windows 8

Create a Recovery Drive or a System Repair Disc in Windows 8

One of the other members who has more knowledge of Win8 should be along shortly.
