Here's the link zep516 gave me many moons ago to teach me how to copy ad paste. Nice link!

    How to copy and paste

    Next:

Download and run Junkware Removal Tool

Please download Junkware Removal Tool to your desktop.

    • Temporarily disable your AV protection software now to avoid potential conflicts.
    • Run the tool by double-clicking it. If you are using Windows Vista, 7, or 8; instead of double-clicking, right-mouse click JRT.exe and select "Run as Administrator"
the tool will open and start scanning your system
    • Please be patient, as this can take a while to complete depending on your system's specifications
    • On completion, a log (JRT.txt) is saved to your desktop and will automatically open
    • Post the contents of JRT.txt into your next message.

Let us know if that helps.....

Okay, I tried the procedure in Abseh1's post. I couldn't find an extension tab. I went to windows explorer and found extensions in my Firefox profile. Including "freehdsports.tv"
I googled that and found removal instructions. It doesn't show up in add/remove programs. I deleted it and jetpack. Now when I came here, two of the previously underlined words are not underlined now. I want to again thank each of you for your help and patience.

    Hi Arbfarkle,

Did you download and run the Junkware Removal Tool? It is similar to the AdwCleaner tool above though they have different databases. What one tool may remove, the other may not and vice versa.

If you have, or choose to, please post the JRT.txt log it creates.

    Thank you,

    Donna

Okay, I have got rid of the problem. After I removed the extensions or "Jetpack" and "Freehdsports@freehdsports.tv" I quit having the problem. I occasionally run the adware thing again. This morning was the 6th time. After the original run they have all been the same (I think) clean. The Junkware thing took out some things that I hadn't ran in years, and had forgotten when or why I had them. (I probably hadn't ran them more than once if I had ran them). I don't know about the registry keys, but hope that it has them running okay. Again, thanks for your help.
