Motherboard error checks
Hi everyone, please could anyone clarify something for me? I have a Toshiba Satellite C855 laptop. Is it possible for me to check my motherboard for any technical or corrupt errors? I'm familiar with 'chkdsk', defragmentation, and generally scanning the system for corruptions but is there anything else I can do please? I only ask because my Windows7 programme keeps closing now for no reason, and then sometimes won't boot. Could it be that the Windows7 operating system itself has somehow become corrupt & therefore interfering with the smooth running of the computer?

A fresh install should fix a software issue.
The most likely hardware cause, would be HDD, PSU or temps.
A failing PSU and heat are most likely.
If you have a spare, or one you can borrow, that's an easy test.SIGNATURE...When I post info I assume you have already read this link
