Default Windows 8 Pro boot-up failure

Please can you advise? I'm experiencing major serious boot-up failure issues with my windows 8. I'm currently typing this on my laptop with OS Windows 7 because my desktop computer with Windows 8 just refuses to load & has been giving major problems. I've done a memory test on the windows 8 computer & everything is good. As I write this I'm attempting to re-boot the windows 8 computer but it point blank refuses. The windows 8, 64bit is genuine, and is activated. I want to do a 'Master Boot Record' repair but I can't get the computer to load in the first place. If I attempt to reinstall the Windows 8 OS it asks for a new product key which I don't have, and I don't know how much its costs to buy a new one. Is it at all possible that the windows 8 OS might have become corrupt? But then how on earth could this happen? Please, please can you help me on this? Bearing in mind that I can't currently access Windows 8 OS, I'm still trying to boot the programme now at 11.38hrs (02/07/2013), I've got I.E10 I think, 500GB Seagate HDD, and quad core 64bit processor, thank you for your help on this.

Restore, Fix, Repair Master Boot Record in Windows 8 | 7

Press F8 while booting the system to go into the Windows Recovery Menu.

Unlike other version Windows 8ís recovery menu has the Metro UI style.
