Default Unable To Remove Disconnected Network Drive

    Hi all,

On my Windows Vista Laptop, I have 2 accounts. 1 is my Administrator account and the other is my Mothers account (also an admin).

If I was to log into my mothers account, log out and then log into my Administrator account, when I click on my computer I see Disconnected Network Drive (Z: ) under network locations with a Red Cross.

I don't see why it appears when I log off of her account and when I log into mine? I would like to remove it but when I right click and disconnect I get an error.

    Can anybody help me?

    Many thanks!

I have screenshots but I am unable to upload them for some reason, when I click manage attachments I get a pop-up with just a red triangle top left.

Update - It appears if it turn my hub off (BT Home Hub 2) I don't get the problem, when I turn it on again login and switch accounts thats when I see this disconnected Z drive. Strange?

Does your mother's account use that Z drive? And are you really "logging out" or just "switching users"?

I log off my main administrator account and log into my mothers account or visa versa. When I log into that second account that's when I see the z drive under my computer.

I ask again, "does your mother's account use that Z drive?"
