    Default Event Viewer

    Hello

I use the "Event Viewer" to get information on errors.

When I try to send data on error to "http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp" I get:

"The Web page you are trying to view cannot be displayed. It could be that the page is no longer available, or that
the Web site is currently offline. Please try again later, or try another page"

As far as I can tell my internet connection is working fine.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks

    Default Oops

    Oops _

I wasn't at all clear on my problem. I must pass data stored in the "Event Viewer" in order to
get a detailed description of an error.

    I'll try again.

    1. I go to the event viewer (Control Panel / Administrative Tools / Event viewer

    2. Select "System Events"

3 If there is an error record and I want to find more information on the error
I click the error record and get something like:

"Generate Activation Context failed for C:\Program Files\Epson Software\
    FAX Utility\Resource\FULEPPRes.dll. Reference error message:
    The operation completed successfully."
    .

"For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp".

    4. I can then pass information on the error and get more detail on it by clicking the
    "http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp"

That is when I get the message:

"The Web page you are trying to view cannot be displayed. It could be that the page is no longer available,
or that the Web site is currently offline. Please try again later, or try another page."

    Thanks again for any help.
