    Default windows 10 failed suddently

When using my skype, suddently skype stopped working.
    I tried to restart.
During this restart, there was updates. Did updates, and when my computer did restart, it ended up with a black screen with a small blinking line in the upper left corner.
What to do to solve this problem?
    Running windows 10.
    Please assist me.
    Best regards, John From Denmark.

    Hello,

Is that an upgrade to windows 10 from either windows 7 or 8 ? Or is it a fresh install ?

    Thanks
    Joe

There are no quick fixes, and very few fixes that actually work., for black screen issues like this.

Try to run System Restore to a point before the problem happened. If that fails, then I suggest a backup and a wipe/reinstall of the system.

Do you have any operating system disks?

You could download win 10 and try to reinstall it. See link below.

I have downloaded win 10 on my external drive.
How to get it installed on my pc, having the problem?
I would highly ask HOW to do, and not WHAT to do.
    Thanks.

I'm not a 100 percent how to do all this, I can only provide information, from what I see you need to create a bootable USB media

I am not sure, I dare to follow your advices.
What i do not need, is information not being just a guess.
    Thanks.
I need a guideline how to do, and not what to do.
    Thanks.
