Okay i think i have a serious problem. When i turn on my computer nothing happens. The fans run and the cd-roms spin but that's about it. My harddrive might be running but it's quite and i cannot hear it. I am running a Asus A7V333 on pc2100 256Mb DDR RAM, 40 gig western digital 7200RPM harddrive, Hercules 3D prophet 3 ti 500, and a AMD Athon 1.4 ghz. I think my power is not sending enough power to the rest of the computer to enable it to continue. Any suggestions would be helpful.
    Thanks

I doubt if it is the power supply unless the actual power lead has come loose.
The problem is either with the bios (cmos) settings or the hard drive boot sector is damaged.
Open up the computer and check all connections.
Access the COMOS settings and make sure the boot sequence is set to A, D, C , in that order.
Try booting up using a windows startup disk.
If both fail then you may need to reformat.
