I switched back to using outlook express from Outlook 2000. After deleting the MS Outlook 2000 I realized I forgot to import my messages. Is there a way to retrieve my messages after I removed the software.

Check your identities directory. Your messages may be there. On my windows 98 (installed in c:windows) this is
    C:WINDOWSApplication DataIdentities
there you will find a folder with a long alphanumeric name. In this folder should be the database of Outlook's messages. Back it up if you find it and in the new Outlook try to import the messages from it. I don't know if this is going to work, but at least OE stores messages in this folder.
