Hi anonymous I noted your advice on my posting :Email Insert. I have always used
the copy and paste method in writing Emails
since I can't type that fast.It affords me
all the time I need to finish a letter. I
tried to copy and paste the photograph
    and it didn't work.

DenniDeyo...re: your need for information on
    what Email service I have..here it goes : I
use Yahoo Mail. I may also add that there
are two little 'critters' I have but have
never used...Yahoo Messenger and Outlook Express. Thanks for the input..I look forward
to further advice. Have a nice day.

Whoozhe, do the Oldman a favour..have

a crack at my Email Insert problem. A

visit to a Canadian Old Folks web site

made me understand that there was a

    difference between an Email Insert

and an Email Attachment. I have been

trying eversince to send a photograph

of one grand daughter to another. Help

    the Old Man. Thanks.

    The difference is:
An attachment is a file that the reciever can open in what ever program is associated with that file (eg himum.doc) would open Word on the reciever's computer if they activated the attachent.
Embedding or adding the picture into the body of the email means that they will see the picture in the actual email providing they have an email program that is capable of binary decoding.
Most Web based email programs allow attachments but not embedding.
If you use hotmail or yahoo create a word doc and add the pic to it. Send the doc as an attachment.
My personal view is to avoid web based email and use the POP3 one provided by your ISP. They are more secure, flexible and far easier to avoid spam.

    I forgot another suggestion.
There are a number of websites that allow you to upload pics so others can view them.
    try:
    http://www.picturetrail.com/

Thanks Whoozhe, the Oldman knew that

you'll come to his rescue. Many moons

ago on the old Forum you answered my

first question : ' why my printer

refuses to print some internet articles'

    Thanks once again Whoozhe.

    Hi Oldmanjo
In outlook express when you open new messages
    go to format
    then click on picture
type where you saved the picture (file or folder name)
Then click on the picture you want to send and when you do the body of the E-mail will be the whole picture without an attachment
I hope this is wht you want.
