    my dad has a toshiba video bios version 1.30 i tried delete n all the f keys but i still cant enter the bios does anyone know the key or keys to press?

    Entering the bios depends on the system.
    The most common keys is the del key. However some systems use F2, F10, Ctrl-Alt

    HOw do you get around the bios being password protected besides just taking off the battery?

    The only way to get around the bios password is either by using the jumpers or removing the battery for 10-15 minutes. Alternatively you can try and extract a backdoor password from the bios manufacturer.
    Do a google search for BIOS password recovery. I have seen some posting with this backdoor password for some bios chips
