    How do you set Outlook (2000) up so you need a password to access after start up

    This is done via the Identities (File Identities)
    Be careful though because if you forget the password it is not easy, if possible, to recover it.

    Thanks Woozhe, but I think that Identity is only for Outlook express - can't seem to find identity option in outlook 2000

    Select Tools, then accounts to open the Internet Accounts Box, then at the top of the box select the mail tab, then choose properties at the right side of the box. This opens the mail properties box, then choose the server tab.
