    Quick question, How can i tell if i have the Windows XP upgrade or Full Edition?

    It's on the CD.
    If the version came with the computer then it should be a full version. If not then report the vendor to Microsoft because selling upgrades on a new system is illegal and contrary to Microsoft's policy.
    Click on Start.

    From the Start Menu, right click onto My Computer and select Properties.
    This will open the System Properties window.
    You'll see the version of Windows listed under the System heading.

    It's a ghetto copy that someone put in for me, and i'm not sure if it's the upgrade or not. I looked at the system information and it sayd XP perfesonial .. how can i tell?

    What's the difference between using illegally gotten software and illegally using illegally gotten music? Don't give me that royalty bit either. Stealing is stealing, no matter how done. Michael Jackson and others seems to be making their royalties and millions okay, just as Bill Gates is.
