    Default HTTP 500 internal server error Internet Explorer

    Hi, Can anyone tell me whats causing this I am constantly gettiing this message when I use my back button or change web pages.I am using WindowsME and IE6.

    Do you run Norton Firewall. If so it is the cause.
    Dump it and get Zone Alarm.
    If not the problem is with ASP scripts.
    The error you see is not the full error. To see the full error do the following.
    In IE click tools>internet options>advanced Scroll down the the "Show friendly HTML Error Messages" and uncheck it.
    Next time you will see the full message. This will give you more details on what the actual problem is.
    Also download the IE6 sp1 patch.

    ya dump norton and mc afee all the way I use OUTPOST firewall it is more oriented for "power users"
