Guest:
I tried to find this site, are you sure that you copied it correctly?
Guessing it was www(dot)getwindowinfo.com. I tried several variations and found nothing.
Have you tried start>run> type msconfig to see if you can deleted it from the start up menu?
Cheers

Might be a program that was downloaded by error. check in your programs for anything suspicious and uninstall it or in Add/remove programs.

Do you have any other browser besides Internet Explorer installed? the Www_getwindowInfo seems to be an API call to get the URL in the internet explorer/netscape navigator window. It uses DDE. Basically it's a function in the programming. here is the info on it. http://developer.netscape.com/docs/m...ator/DDE/ddevb.
Also some VB info on it.. http://www.mvps.org/vbnet/index.html...browserurl.htm
Look in the "Form Code" section and you'll find reference to it.
All I can tell you is to either uninstall/reinstall/repair netscape navigator or internet explorer. Also...maybe if you downloaded some kind of "browser add-on" for the 2. You could uninstall that. maybe a pop up killer or something. Just a thought.Code:.LinkTopic = "IExplore|WWW_GetWindowInfo"

This function is used by some to call up an url. Some media players use it to call up the database of a CD being played.
