Are you asking to make your radio station to broadcast over the internet?

If you are in the USA you how that there will copy right issues to deal with, if you are going to copy righted material.

    Cheers

There are some places where you can broadcast that cover the copywrite issues.
http://www.live365.com/broadcast/ is one. They chard $US7.95/month and allow you to earn $$$$ through advertising if you wish.
You will need a broadband connection and even then your listening audience will be restricted to about a dozen ppl at one time.
    Here is a cheap alternative.
Try Paltalk. You can set up your own room and broadcast to your hearts content, until the RIAA find you.
The main Real and Windows Media player streams, well you will need a hefty loan to bradcast using thier systems.

No. You must go through the Shoutcast provider's server.
As I said if you want to broadcast direct from your website the cost is very high and the bandwidth you would need would not be provided by your ISP without some hefty extra charges.
Try this. Get hold of some utitlity that records download bandwidth and listen to any Net station. Count the megaytes for one minute, mutiply that by the number of listeners you would like then double it. That is the total bandwidth you would need. Ask the ISP what the cost would be then faint.
And that is just the ISP cost.
