Try lowering the record speed, while the writers can go fast, the rest of technology (disks etc) can't keep up with the speed. The other alternative is to buy disks that are designed to record at faster speeds if there are any. Our guru in this area is whoozhe, I'm sure he'll pass on some good advice. Would probably help to know what opertaing system you're using (XP?) and some specifics on the pc ..RAM, size of HD and available space etc.
