    Default trying to load 400mb game say not enough memory

    im runnig windows xp just rebooted so everything like new one tryed loading a 400 mb games says not enough memory to close one or more windows applications then try again

    How much RAM do you have? What programs are running in the background? XP can use up alot of your memory. You need a minimum of 256mb to even think of running XP, with 512 mb or more recommended for gaming. Charlie

    Also the amount of spare hard disk is important. Windows uses virtual memory (page file in XP) if there is not enough physical memory. Low disk space means too small a page file.
    The other issue could be the game itself and the way it handles memory.
    You don;t name the game so hard to help any further.
    Read the recomendations on the box.
