    Default windows explorer problem

I've been having an annoying problem on one of my computers. When I go to "my computers" and right click on one of my hard drives I get the "Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close...." message. It doesn't happen everytime, but often enough to be annoying. I've found suggestions from edit registry to do a repair installation. I have done a system restore back to 4 days ago, no help. I can include the complete error file if that will help. Charlie

    Charlie:

I really don't have a clue, since it works a lot of the time. I too have a problem with a second hard drive using XP. really hard to try fix something that is as intermediate as yours.

(My problem is different, mine is that if my other HD is enabled, at times my CPU usage goes thorough the roof)

It may just be one of those many "quirks" XP gives me fits with.
