    Hmm just noticed something else. Now it's reporting my 2nd hard drive as unformatted. Before the problems, it was like 2GB with 1GB of data.

    As I suggested before the problem is the power supply. If not enough power is getting to the Hard Drive it will become irrepairably damaged. One of the main caused for the "Click Of Death"
    Don't wait, dont turn on the system again and take it to a technician. Failing to do so may render you with a totaly usless system.

    OK. Can I just buy and install the power supply myself? Or is there professional work that has to go into it?

    Also, I'm trying to figure out if my USB ports are 1.1 or 2.0 and I've looked but I don't see anything.

    Power supply's are easy to install. There are loads of tutorials online. Just do a google.
