    Default Microsoft office

I just replaced my old Windows ME with XP(2000). Problem is when installing word and exell it won't accept the key code. I tried using the code from the XP program and that didn't work either. Didn't try MS Money but expect the same. How can I get through this?

Did you upgrade ME to XP or did you do a clean install? Reformat the hard drive and install XP? And what version of Office is it? How much RAM do you have? Need more info to help.

XP home eddition version 2000 was installed while ME was on the drive. XP deleated ME during installation. I have a 1GH with 256 ram. Am trying to load MS office 2000 small business.

If that is the case, and if office was already installed before the upgrade it should still be there. However if your hard drive is only 1 gig, Xp has probably taken all the space. Also 256 RAM is barely enough for XP, 512 is recommended. Go to My computer and higlight C: drive. Right click and select properties. How much free space does it say you have?
