    Default WinMe problems

    Can any one help?
I installed updates for ME. When the system was restarted it found several problems:

    1) before the restart, blue screen with Error : 0e: 018F: bff8e64b. Here I ctrl-alt- del to finish restart.
    2) during boot up, message " windows could not upgrade the file %1 from %2
    %1:%2
appeared on screen. When windows me launched the wallpaper doesnt load and runs at slower than usual
Any leads will be greatly appreciated

These both appear to be Windows ME problems (best advice is to upgrade to XP, but failing this, you can try to fix).

    The Error : 0e: 018F: bff8e64b problem go to Microsoft fix http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb;EN-US;Q149962

The windows could not upgrade the file %1 from %2 %1:%2 problem go to Microsoft fix http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=283069

Hope thse work for you, get back and let us know. Good luck
