Default ipconfig dosen't stay up long

When I run ipconfig the window pops up long enough for me to read about the first 3 numbers then closes.

Any command line program you run from the "Run" command in the start menu will only open it's window long enough for either A.) To do process the parameters you have passed to it or B.) Display the "help" menu for the program if it requires parameters and no parameters weren't sent to the program.

If you REALLY want to run a command line program from the "Run" command do this....

CMD /K <command program here + paramateres> so for your example, if you wanted to do ipconfig /all from the RUN command....

CMD /K IPCONFIG /ALL that will open the command prompt, run the program and pass all given parameters to said program and leave the command prompt open after the program finishes until you type "exit" into the command prompt.
