    Default Password help

I am using XP Professional. Upon boot up I get a message asking for a password. Since I am the only one using this computer I would like to get rid of this message asking for a password. I know it can be done with 98SE, but I'm at a loss on XP. I am a Senior Citizen with NO computer knowledge...

    Thanks, Deryl

Go to the Start Button>Control Panel>User accounts> Click on your Icon, select Remove password. Follow the rest of its instructions.

    Cheers

    Default XP password

Sorry, but there is no "remove password" on that screen. I do have the following: Change my name.... Create a password...Change my picture and Change my account type.
I have gone through all of those and cannot find a "remove password". Sorry, I must be doing something wrong....Thanks

    Deryl :-)
