    Hi Stoney,

I have a question I'd like to ask.

Is there anyway that I can just Buy whatever software I may need to fix this problem?

Also, I am still in the middle of my job search so once again my apologies for the delay in responding.

    Thanx again Stoney,
    Damon.

    Hi
Not sure if i can answer your question as support for 95 hard to find

What Does the belarc advisor say your motherboard is, it depends what mother- board you have, wonder if it supports AGP
Are you thinking along lines of different card
What does the Belarc Advisor say your Mainboard is

depends what version of 95 and if it supports AGP
if you click on>settings>controlpanel>double click on system
what does it say if it says the figure is 4.00.950A you have windows 95A or does it say b or c take a look.
and to be honest its prob not worth it, when you think about it

The windows 95A has not been designed to support AGP boards

As far as the pci Cirrus Logic PCI [Display adapter]
on Driverguide i found these below if you go to site and scroll down

    http://list.driverguide.com/list/company216/index.html

it is free to join driver-guide

I am sorry you are still looking for work, but the one advantage if you can call it that is[i am not sure if you are in the UK]

It may-be that you have a recycle centre near you possible to pick up say Pentium 3 runing say 98se quite cheap
as when you consider the support for 95 few and far between

Refurbished computers below just to give you an idea
    http://www.ukitrecycling.com/refurbishedsystems.htm

    http://www.4cheapcomputers.co.uk/pentium3.htm

you could do a search in your area or contact your local council

you could try this first, i guess your system is using best driver for the Cirrus Logic PCI [Display adapter]
    worth a try?

you can try go-to start>settings>control panel>click on control panel.
Then look for system>double click on system>see Device manager at top>click on> look for Display adaptor> click on then+ Box to expand> then you should see below [your display adaptor high-light this]>then click on properties.
at the top see driver Tab>click on driver tab>click on update driver

wish i could be more help

    Regards Stoney

I just ran into the same problem on my sisters computer few days ago

hers had a trojan or virus that only let her Pc display like 6 or so colors Try seeing if it is a trojan or something I had the color fixed in an hour after that and the setting were adjustable agian

I also ran all the updates a Virus scans and it cleared everthing right up !

I would run the spyware programs too if you haven't already to check and see if there is anything like that afecting it !

    Hello guys,

    Great news, problem solved!!

My wife was able to correct the problem using our old windows95 disk. I would've never thought of it myself.

I want to thank you a million times for all the help Stoney. And I wish everyone a happy and blessed New Year.

    Regards,
    Damon.
