Error message Missing file
I have Windows 98 and recently installed Nero to burn cds. I went to burn a cd and I got this message:
Win-ASPI file missing. Windows 95/98/Me files
Error 12: Init failed
What does it mean and what can I do to fix it.
Thanks alot.

Download Nero's ASPI driver here http://www.nero.com/us/ASPI_Driver.html . If this doesn't work then try Adaptec's driver here http://www.adaptec.com/worldwide/sup...a2.exe&sess=no . Hope this helps.

Download install this file..
http://www.nero.com/us/NEASPIEN.EXE.html
it's the nero ASPI drivers for most CDRoms. If that doesn't work you may go to http://radified.com/ASPI/forceaspi.htm and download the forceASPI file to your computer and use ti to install 4.6 of Adaptecs ASPI driver.
Hope one of these works.

You're most welcome JMustill. Lived in Ottawa for many years, still have family there. Season's Greetings.
