    Default Cab Extraction Error

    Hi,

Everytime I log on to my PC the message:
'ABORT.HTM' on(unknown) is needed. Type the path where the file is located, and then click ok.

I click on Cancel then the message:
Cab extraction error. Runsetup command failed Err 0x800704c7 the operation was cancelled by the user.

I am also having problems installing Media player 9 the message:
'Another program installation was not completed. You must restart your computer to complete that installation before upgrading windows click cancel, restart your computer, and then try installing windows media player 9 series again. I tried to upgrade through the old media player but all the message shows is 'Internal server error 0x80072f78'. HELP!!!!!!!!!!

To answer your first question, I would recommend you follow the steps here http://www.help2go.com/article217.html . Step 5 you may post your HJT log to this thread and one of our experts will check it out for you (click Post Reply at the bottom of this page and paste the log there) or you can paste your log to the Help2Go Detective (upper left of this page under SECTIONS) and submit it .. follow the recommendations.

For your second problem, take a look at this http://support.microsoft.com/kb/836985 .
