Default Windows explorer and Pdf files

    Hi guys,

I've been having no trouble with my Windows Explorer v6 Sp2 until I was directed to go to a site to download a pdf file. the url was normal except that the suffix was .pdf instead of .htm.
I get blank screen with just a small square housing a red x and the message at the bottom "Done". Hitting the refresh button gets the same result. It seems to be finding the page alright but not displaying it. I thought there might be something wrong with the site until it happened again at different sites.
    Any ideas please.

OK what you need is adobe reader wich reads the .pdf extension files. go to http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
    download it and install it.
    Lemme know if it works

    Thanks mate,
It worked. Though whyI do not understand. It got me acrobat reader v7 (big plus) but I already had v6? So, why didn't that work? Oh well, who cares, your suggestion has fixed it so thank you very very much.
