    Default Invalid page fault

    Hi

    When I start my computer it is asking for window password and then comes the error message :explorer caused an invalid page fault in module EXPLORER.EXE at 0.167:00401f31 Registers..........

    Can anyone tell me how to get into Windows. I do not find Explorer.exe file and even in safe mode the same is the problem. I tried to reload windows but it does not recognising the files on E drive(CD Drive).

    Please solve my problem.

    A shot in the dark here ... are you using Norton's cleansweep? If so, uninstall it through the ADD/REMOVE process.
