    Default Start-Up Problems

[b]I have Windows XP2 on my computer. It worked great until about 3 wks. ago. Every once in a while when I turn on my computer, no Start-Menu and no icons appear. Then, when I re-boot, everything appears as it should. All of my other programs seem to be working all right in spite of this happening. Puzzled :?:

My research found the following fix
    1. Open Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.

    2. In the sidebar, click on Add/Remove Windows Components.

    3. Scroll down to Networking Services, select it, and click the Details... button.

    4. Uncheck UPnP User Interface.

    5. OK your way out, close Add/Remove Programs, and reboot.
All tray icons should appear normally, without the need to log off and back on.
Hope this works, let us know.
