    Default Unpartition

My hard drive is partitioned into 2 partitions..
    c: 12.7gb
    d: 24.5gb

My c: is almost full, but my d: is totally empty.
Is it possible for me to unpartition d: and for the 24.5gb to be added to c: giving me one large c: drive.

My OS is Win XP Home.

    Thanks in advance.

Why not move your important data and some programs to d drive. Using a partition can certainly protect from viruses etc.

I support Canuck's suggestion, but if you must go back to one large partition, you will need a program such as Partition Magic so that you can make changes without losing data. The key to making 2 partitions work, is to not install everything to the C drive(which is the default for most applications). When prompted for where to install, change the C to D(or whatever letter you are using) and put everything except the operating system and necessary files on D. Charlie
