When I try to add a new appointment to the Works Calendar I get an error message saying Microsft has encountered a problem and needs to close, etc. It did work Ok but this has just started.
Got this report from the Event Viewer - any ideas anyone please?

Have you checked for updates? If there are none, try reinstalling MS Works over the existing one, hopefully it will repair the damaged file. Remember to make a System Restore point before doing this.
Thanks for the reply Canuck. I did as you suggested and reinstalled Works from the CD. The same problem is there still, but now I can't even open an apppointment in the Calendar.
I also noticed that all the data from the old Calendar (and also from my Address Book) is still there - shouldn't that have gone when I uninstalled Works ?
