Updating ASUS motherboard BIOS

Hi everyone,
I am trying to update the BIOS of my ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe motherboard from Rev1012 to 1013. I am not good with the Awardflash update utility so i am trying to use the ASUS Update program that came with my motherboard support CD. This program lets me update the BIOS from windows so i dont have to go through Awardflash. But whenever it connects to the update server it shows me the older versions of the BIOS to download. On the ASUS website i have found the latest version (1013) and i have downloaded it so my question is this: If i choose the "Update from file" option in the ASUS update program and load the latest BIOS that i have downloaded from the ASUS web site and install it will it work?

yes i have already looked at that site and all it tells is how to go through the Awardflash utility. As i have told already those steps are a little difficult and i do not want to go through them. sorry

If the updater reads this file ok it should be fine to go ahead. I have an ASUS motherboard in my HP a320n but I've never updated it.

just to close this topic i want to say that it worked and my BIOS has been updated to the latest version. Thanks everone even though only one person really answered. I only posted this topic to make sure im doing the right thing.
