    Default burning problems

    after encoding using nero,i keep getting a error message reading,application error,instruction at "0x006158d2" reference memory at 0x014e34d0". the memory could not be read. this message appears as burning begins at the end of the program.

    Have you downloaded the latest updates from Nero? If you have, I suggest you make note of your Key # (under Help), have the downloaded updates in their own file (or on CD) and then uninstall Nero. Reinstall using the downloaded updates and you should be ok. This is probably due to a damaged file. Keep us updated. It may also be a good idea to make a new Restore Point before doing the above.

    Make sure that the drives you are using have autoplay disabled.
    In the Control Panel right click the drive letter, choose properties and Auto Play.
    Also disable XP's (if that is your OS) cd burning. it uses Rixios system and that will clash with nero
    Take control of your life. Leave others to control their own.
